Men are recommended to eat about nine servings of vegetables per day, while women should have at least seven. Although it’s easy to find a selection of vegetables at your local grocery store, it’s not always clear where those vegetables came from.

Robintide Farms offers a selection of local farm-fresh vegetables in Toronto that includes pick-your-own and pre-picked in-season vegetables from mid-June to early August. We also offer pumpkins and other specialties from late September to the end of October.

Green Beans

These crunchy, delicious vegetables are a warm weather crop, perfect for picking during the summer and fall. They are a high source of fibre, potassium, and folate, and are a great source of iron, zinc, and protein.

Sweet Peas

Green peas are rich in fibre, Vitamin A, Vitamin K, iron, folate, thiamin, Vitamin C and manganese and contain a variety of nutrients that help protect against some chronic illnesses like heart disease and cancer.
